POSITION OF PRINCIPAL

Bahria University Health Sciences Post Graduate Institute (BUHSC), Karachi

1. Overview:

Bahria University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced leader to fill the role of Principal at our esteemed Post Graduate Institute at the Health Sciences Campus in Karachi. The Principal will play a crucial role in shaping academic and research excellence, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the institution.

2. Qualifications:

  • Professor with Level-III Qualification

  • PhD in Health Sciences-related Subjects

  • Basic MBBS Degree

  • Strong academic and research background.

3. Key Responsibilities:

As Principal, you will be expected to:

  • Lead Postgraduate Programs: Focus on achieving academic excellence and advanced training.

  • Promote Innovative Research: Encourage high-quality, interdisciplinary research that aligns with national priorities.

  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee adherence to university policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Drive Program Accreditation: Lead quality assurance initiatives and institutional evaluation processes.

  • Develop Curricula and Training Facilities: Expand postgraduate programs, training facilities, and research capacity.

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance to faculty, support postgraduate scholars, and foster academic growth.

  • Institutional Development: Formulate strategies for institutional growth and develop national/international collaborations.

  • Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by higher authorities.
