Overview:

The Government of Pakistan, through the Establishment Division, is seeking dynamic and seasoned professionals for key leadership roles in economic development. These roles include Principal Accounting Officers (PAOs), Technical Advisors, and Heads of Organizations. Selected individuals will be tasked with steering policy reforms and delivering results in high-impact sectors.

Position Summary:

  • Role Titles:

    • Principal Accounting Officers (PAOs)

    • Technical Advisors

    • Heads of Organizations

  • Nature of Roles:

    • Policy leadership

    • Reform implementation

    • Strategic delivery in critical economic sectors

    • Contract-based, performance-driven positions

  • Contract Type:

    • Initial Tenure: 2 years

    • Extension: Subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement

Compensation Package:

  • Pay Grade: According to Government of Pakistan rules

  • Remuneration: Market-competitive salaries

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education:

    • Minimum Master’s degree or 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized national or international institution

  • Experience:

    • At least 20 years of relevant post-qualification experience

    • Minimum 12 years in senior leadership roles (e.g., C-suite, Director, Advisor)

  • Age Limit:

    • Maximum 60 years at the time of appointment

    • Age relaxation may be granted in exceptional cases by the competent authority
