PESHAWAR ELECTRIC SUPPLY COMPANY (PESCO)
VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT

PESCO, a Public Limited Power Distribution Company, is mandated under its license to provide electricity to its valuable customers. PESCO intends to fill the following project-based positions for the World Bank-funded Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP).

Vacant Positions:

1. Manager (Environment & Safe Guard)

  • No of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science from a HEC-recognized university.
    • At least 12 years of experience in construction and supervision of Power Sector Projects, particularly Grid Stations/Transmission lines and Dams.
    • Age: Up to 45 years
  • Remuneration: Rs. 167,000/- (all inclusive)

2. Gender Specialist

  • No of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Master’s Degree (MA/MSc) in Gender Studies from a HEC-recognized university.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Government, autonomous/semi-autonomous, or private sector organizations of national or international repute.
    • Age: Up to 32 years
  • Remuneration: Rs. 100,000/- (all inclusive)

3. Assistant Manager (Occupational Health and Safety Specialist)

  • No of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science from a HEC-recognized university.
    • Certification/diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, etc.
    • At least 5 years of experience in OHS in construction and supervision of Power Sector Projects, particularly Grid Stations/Transmission lines and Dams.
    • Age: Up to 32 years
  • Remuneration: Rs. 100,000/- (all inclusive)

Instructions:

Contract Period:

The contract will last until the completion of the World Bank Project, maximum up to June 30, 2027.
