VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design, Lahore is going to start Short Courses in the Cities / Areas of Islamabad, Karachi, Multan, Chiniot, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
Applications for the following posts on contract base are invited on prescribed form, which can be down-loaded from www.pifd.edu.pk and accompanied by original deposit slip showing Online Deposit (Habib Bank Limited, Islamic Bank, Expo Center Branch, Lahore Account No. 5039-70002688-51)/Pay Order/Demand Draft for Sr. No. 01-02 of Rs. 1500 in favor of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design as Application Processing Fee (Non-Refundable).

DESCRIPTION
1. Post: Lecturer (ONE Post for each department of Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fashion Marketing & Merchandising, Furniture Design and Manufacture, Gems & Jewellery Design, Leather Accessories & Footwear Design, Ceramic & Glass Design)
Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT Basis initially for the period of one year.
Minimum Qualification & Experience: First professional degree/ diploma (4 Years minimum or equivalent awarded after 16 years of education with major in relevant field) in First Division from PIFD (PSFD / Fashion Design) or any HEC recognized university/institution with no third division in the academic career. Teaching/Work experience in an educational institution will be preferred.
2. Post: Teaching Associate (TWO Posts for each department of Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fashion Marketing & Merchandising, Fumiture Design and Manufacture, Gems & Jewellery Design, Leather Accessories & Footwear Design, Ceramic & Glass Design)
Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT Basis initially for the period of one year.
Minimum Qualification & Experience: Minimum 4-Year Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent (with major in relevant field) from HEC recognized university or any accredited foreign university. Experience of working in an educational institution will be preferred.
Application Form with complete CV accompanied by original Bank Deposit Slip along-with attested copies of domicile, educational and experience documents, must reach the undersigned till 10th May, 2024. Applications received after due date and incomplete will not be entertained.
All the positions are on open merit basis, preference should be given to PIFD Graduates.
Candidates already in Government Service should apply through proper channel and submit NOC along with their documents.
• Only short listed candidates will be called for test/interview.
• Canvassing will disqualify an applicant.
No TA/DA will be paid for test/interview.
