Job Opportunities (Contract Basis)

The National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Mirpur Campus, AJK, invites applications from Pakistani Nationals for the following staff positions on a contract basis.

Available Positions & Requirements

1. Office Assistant

  • Qualification: 16 years of education

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a public or private sector organization

  • Preference: Experience in a university or educational institution

  • Skills Required:

    • Proficiency in computer handling, especially MS Office

    • Strong drafting and communication skills

  • Additional Eligibility: Retired Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) may also apply

2. Upper Division Clerk (UDC)

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant office experience in a public or private sector organization

  • Preference: Experience in a university or educational institution

  • Skills Required:

    • Proficiency in MS Office and general computer handling

  • Additional Eligibility: Retired Havaldars may also apply

3. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

  • Qualification: Intermediate

  • Typing Speed: Minimum 30 words per minute

  • Preference:

    • Experience of working in a university or educational institution

  • Skills Required:

    • Proficiency in MS Office and computer handling

  • Additional Eligibility: Retired Havaldars may also apply

4. Computer Lab Assistant

  • Qualification: Graduate with a one-year diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited institution

  • Experience Required:

    • Adequate experience in installing operating systems (Windows and Linux platforms)

    • Installation and maintenance of Windows-based software

5. Library Attendant

  • Qualification: Minimum Matric

  • Experience: Some experience in the relevant field is preferred

6. Driver

  • License Category: HTV / LTV / Cars

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of driving experience with a valid driving license

  • Preference:

    • Retired Army personnel with staff car driving experience

7. Security Guard

  • Qualification: Literate

  • Experience: Relevant field experience required

  • Age Limit: Not more than 45 years

  • Physical Requirement: Physically fit

  • Additional Eligibility: Retired Armed Forces personnel may also apply
