Position 1: Unit Head – Guarantees (AVP)

Department: Trade Finance
Reporting To: Wing Head – Trade Finance
Place of Posting: Lahore

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Minimum Graduation (or equivalent) from a recognized local or international institution (HEC-recognized). Master's degree and/or relevant certifications/diplomas preferred.

  • Experience: At least 6–7 years of banking experience in trade operations, preferably with a focus on Bank Guarantees.

  • Skills & Expertise:

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills

    • Knowledge of URDG758, SBP regulations, sanctions compliance, and TBML

    • Strong processing skills (volume, speed, accuracy)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end process of guarantee issuance, renewal, cancellation, and encashment.

  • Ensure accuracy of entries and reconciliation reporting.

  • Maintain adherence to TATs and SLAs.

  • Manage guarantee claims, audits, and reporting.

  • Ensure GL balancing and perform any assignments given by the supervisor.


Position 2: Assistant Manager – Trade Finance (OG-II)

Reporting To: Unit Head – Import/Export
Place of Posting: Karachi

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Minimum Graduation from HEC-recognized university. Master’s degree or certifications preferred.

  • Experience: At least 2 years in trade finance (imports/exports, LC advising, PSW, refinance).

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of ICC publications, SBP regulations

    • Proficiency in MS Office

    • Effective communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process trade transactions (LCs, guarantees, shipping docs, payments).

  • Handle import/export documentation and disbursements.

  • Maintain records and compliance with SBP regulations.

  • Ensure day-end reviews and reconciliation.

  • Provide customer service and perform tasks as assigned.


Position 3: Wing Head – Business Strategy Compliance & Analytics (VP)

Department: Special Assets Management Group (SAMG)
Reporting To: Group Head – SAMG
Place of Posting: Karachi

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Graduation from HEC-recognized institute; Master’s/professional qualifications preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of banking experience, with 3 years in managerial roles (recovery, risk, corporate/commercial banking).

  • Skills:

    • Power BI familiarity, analytical and interpersonal skills

    • Understanding of SBP Prudential Regulations

    • Proficiency in MS Office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present SAMG business plans and policies.

  • Analyze credit proposals and mitigate risks.

  • Supervise recovery strategies and ensure compliance.

  • Act as liaison with regulatory and internal bodies.

  • Oversee RMs and performance tracking.


Position 4: Relationship Manager – Asset Rehabilitation & Recoveries (OG-II)

Department: Asset Rehabilitation Wing
Reporting To: Wing Head – Asset Rehabilitation
Place of Posting: Karachi

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Graduation (Master’s preferred) from HEC-recognized institution.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in recovery/commercial/corporate banking.

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Understanding of SBP regulations, credit risk, and legal procedures

    • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

    • Proficiency in MS Office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategy for non-performing assets.

  • Propose settlements, restructuring, and write-offs.

  • Conduct financial and legal review of accounts.

  • Coordinate with legal and credit departments.

  • Prepare MIS reports and ensure compliance.
