Qualifications & Other Requirements:
At least Intermediate or equivalent (e.g., Diploma of Associate Engineering - DAE) from a Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) or a recognized university.
Minimum height for male candidates: 5 feet 7 inches (approx. 170 cm). Minimum chest measurement: 33 inches (approx. 84 cm) with an expansion of at least 1.5 inches.
Minimum height for female candidates: 5 feet 2 inches (approx. 157 cm). Must be able to run 1000 meters in 14 minutes.
Typing speed of 35 words per minute (WPM) in English on a computer.
A six-month certificate in MS Office from a Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) recognized institute.
STS/VTS Shooting Certificate: Must possess a valid shooting certificate from the Sindh Police/Special Training School (STS) with at least 40% marks, as required for appointment to the mentioned posts.

Application Method: Interested candidates who meet the criteria must apply online through the Government of Sindh Job Portal (https://www.sindhjobs.gov.pk).
STS/VTS Shooting Certificate (For Constable): Applicants must have successfully passed the shooting test conducted by the Sindh Police/Special Training School (STS) with at least 40% marks and possess the valid certificate issued by STS, as mandatory for appointment.
Age Calculation: The age of candidates will be calculated as per the policy issued by the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department, Government of Sindh.
Quota Implementation: Provincial/federal quotas will be observed as per the Sindh Government's policy and relevant SOPs.
Character & Fitness: Character and antecedents will be verified by the police as per government policy. Candidates may be required to submit a medical fitness certificate from a government hospital, if necessary.
Tenure & Transfer: All appointments will be made purely on a contract basis for the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department. Appointees will not be transferable to any other department of the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department or any other department of the Government of Sindh.
Government Employees: Candidates already in government service must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department at the time of application submission/interview. They must also appear before the Departmental Physical & Medical Fitness Committee along with the original NOC.
Appointment Rules: Appointments will be made under the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973 and the relevant amended rules.
Original Documents: Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee with all original documents at the notified time and place according to the schedule on the Government of Sindh Job Portal.
Department's Rights: The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
