Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture is a public university located in Multan, Pakistan. It was established in 2012. It has affiliations with Higher Education Commission (Pakistan) and National Technology Council (Pakistan). The university offers under graduate and post graduate programmers related to agricultural science courses. Multan is an agricultural land especially for cotton crops. The area was in need of an expertise agriculture university to produce efficient graduates who could enhance the progress of agriculture field of Multan. The university has hired a team of professional and able professors to provide inclusive education and research to students. For equip students with practical skills and required training in this field, the university takes assistance of various agriculture institutes located in Multan such as: Mango Research Institute (MRI), Water testing Laboratory, Cotton Research Station (CRS), Pesticide Quality Control Laboratory and Central Cotton Research Institute (CCRI).

The research projects executed by MNS are aimed at increasing crops production, pest controlling, dripping irrigation system, agro-forestry, fruits and fish farming, breeding high yielding varieties of crops and putting emphasis on increasing healthy seed production.
