Pakistan Customs Department – Situations Vacant

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) invites applications from eligible Pakistani nationals for recruitment on a contract basis in the Pakistan Customs Department for a period of two (2) years, which may be extended under exceptional circumstances.

?? General Instructions

  1. Application Submission:
    Apply online only through the National Jobs Portal at https://njp.gov.pk.
    No hard copies will be accepted.

  2. Nature of Employment:

    • Contract basis for two (2) years under Establishment Division guidelines.

    • Possible extension in exceptional cases.

  3. Domicile Requirement:
    Vacancies are strictly allocated as per provincial/regional quotas.

  4. Test & Interview Requirements:

    • Original documents must be presented at the time of test/interview.

    • Screening/skill tests will be conducted where required, under Federal Government policy.

  5. Special Quotas:

    • Minorities (Non-Muslims): 10% reserved.

    • Disabled persons: Must submit a Disability Certificate issued by a recognized Medical Assessment Board under the Ministry of Human Rights.

  6. Age Relaxation Policy (in addition to 5 years general age relaxation):

    Category Age Relaxation
    Candidates from recognized tribes or Buddhist community 3 years
    Government Servants (2+ years continuous service) 10 years (max 15 years)
    Disabled Persons applying for BPS-15 & below 10 years

  7. Misconduct Clause:
    FBR reserves the right to:

    • Cancel candidature at any stage in case of false or forged information.

    • Take legal action if necessary.

  8. Shortlisting & Communication:

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.

    • All applications are subject to eligibility verification.
