JOB ANNOUNCEMENT | 

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for recruitment on a contract basis for the following positions on a lump-sum pay package in the Aquaculture and Fisheries Department:

1. MCS / BCS / BS (1st Division) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Software Engineering Management, Information Systems, or IT from an HEC-recognized university.

 

2. Eight (8) years of post-qualification experience in ICT-based project management in the public sector, and planning/implementation of hardware and software applications.

 

3. System Administration, Network Administration, or Cyber Security certification/background from a recognized institute.

 

4. Registered as a Professional Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in case of a Hardware Engineer.

General Terms & Conditions

  1. Nature of Appointment: Recruitments will be made purely on a contract basis under a lump-sum pay package. Annual increments will be applied as per approved criteria.

  2. Domicile Eligibility: Only candidates possessing a domicile from the Punjab Province are eligible to apply.

  3. In-Service Candidates: Applicants currently working in government/semi-government departments must ensure they have applied for/obtained an NOC/OPC from their parent department and must provide it at the time of the interview.

  4. Age Relaxation: General age relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Government of Punjab, S&GAD Notification No. SORI(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 08-08-2016:

    • Males: +5 years

    • Females: +5 years

  5. No TA/DA: No Traveling Allowance or Daily Allowance (TA/DA) will be admissible for the test or interview.

  6. Selection Process: The Department reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on eligibility and experience. Decisions made by the Selection Committee will be final.

  7. Cancellation: The Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any time without prior notice.

  8. Permanent Status: Selected candidates shall not establish any claim for permanent appointment against these posts.
