Applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment against following project posts purely on contract basis under the project titled "Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Containment & Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Program in National Institute of Health, Islamabad" for initial period of two years (extendable). The requisite qualification and experience has been shown against each ost:-

2. Consultant/Specialist (Microbiologist) 10 1 Merit
  1. MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC.
  2. Post graduate qualification in Microbiology (FCPS or Ph.D) recognized by PMC
  3. 10-15 years’ experience after post-graduation
  4. Experience in planning will be preferred
 37-45 years
3. Consultant/Specialist (Epidemiologist/Public Health) 10 1 Merit
  1. MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC.
  2. Post graduate qualification in Epidemiology/ FELTP/ Public Health recognized by PMC
  3. 10-15 years’ experience after post-graduation
  4. Experience in planning will be preferred

4. Consultant/ Specialist (Health Education/ Risk Communication) 10 1 Merit
  1. Masters in Sociology, Social work, Anthropology or equivalent along-with Masters degree in Public Health

7. Epidemiologist 8 1 Merit
  1. MBBS or equivalent qualification
  2. Post graduate qualification in Epidemiology, Epidemiology and Biostatistics OR Public Health with majors in Epidemiology recognized with relevant council
  3. Having work experience of at least 5 years post-Masters education, across progressively incremental levels of portfolios related to management, research and technical expertise in Public Health. The incumbent should have extensive experience in independently designing conducting-presenting/ disseminating epidemiological studies involving advanced statistical analyses
 25-35 years
8. Microbiologist 8 1 Merit
  1. MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC
  2. Post graduate qualification in Microbiology recognized with relevant council
  3. Having work experience of at least 5 years post-Masters education, across progressively incremental levels of portfolios related to management, research and technical expertise in Microbiology. The incumbent should have extensive experience in independently designing-conducting-presenting / disseminating microbiological studies involving advanced statistical analyses
 25-35 years
 

Terms and Conditions

  1. Five (5) years general relaxation of age will be admissible as per existing government rules.
  2. Advance copy of the application will not be entertained
  3. Government employees may apply for project posts. However, if any Government employee is selected on project post, he/she will have to resign from Government service before appointment on project posts.
  4. Eligibility of candidate will be determined on the basis of his/ her academic qualification, experience, age etc as given against each post.
  5. A candidate can apply for more than one post by submitting separate form for each post.
  6. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for test/ interview.
  7. Incomplete applications as well as received after due date shall not be entertained.
  8. No TA/DA will be admissible for the purpose of test/ interview.
  9. No Additional benefit in addition to pay package shall be admissible for Project's employees.
  10. The competent authority reserves the right to cancel/ postpone recruitment process at any stage.
  11. It is mandatory for the selected candidates that at the time of joining they will submit an affidavit on stamp paper that he/she would not claim for regularization at any stage as these posts are purely contract based.
  12. Information provided in the application forms will be verified in case of appointment of the officer/official. In case of any false or forged information, NIH reserves the right to cancel the candidature at any stage (even after employment, if so revealed later) and to initiate a legal action against the applicant.
  13. Last date of submission of Application Form is 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
