COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client, a Karachi-based company, is looking to appoint an experienced professional for the following role:
MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION – PROJECTS
Key Responsibilities
-
Project Feasibility & Decision-Making:
Evaluate the feasibility of development and maintenance projects ensuring uninterrupted business operations. Make strategic decisions regarding the mode of contracts to optimize efficiency, in accordance with Policies, Procedures, and LAM. -
Project Approvals & Budgeting:
Secure project approvals from management and ensure precise budgeting for both capital and revenue projects. -
Project Monitoring & Reporting:
Supervise project activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and deadlines. Prepare and deliver project status reports to senior management. -
Master Planning & Resource Optimization:
Develop a comprehensive master plan for all projects to avoid overlap in critical equipment utilization. Plan and monitor space planning and critical equipment alternatives during execution. -
Project Execution & Compliance:
Execute projects per defined scope and methodology, ensuring all activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines. -
Change Management:
Manage changes in project scope and activities, minimizing impact on project timelines. Ensure proper project handover to stakeholders and invoicing of all materials and services. -
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise effectively with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with contractual obligations. -
Infrastructure Upgrades:
Assess needs for renovation, modification, or upgradation of infrastructure, including systems like HVAC, electrical, BMS, furniture, and office aesthetics, aligning with modern office designs and innovations.
Education

Minimum Requirement:
16 years of education, preferably a Master's degree from a renowned and HEC-recognized university/institution or an equivalent foreign degree. -
Preferred Majors:
Engineering or a related field.
Experience
-
Required Experience:
6–7 years of professional experience, preferably within a large national or multinational organization. -
Relevant Functional Experience:
At least 3–4 years in a similar role.
Requirements

Sound knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Excellent time management and ability to prioritize work effectively.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
