(Multiple Positions – Karachi)

Our client, a Karachi-based organization, is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions:


MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION – INTEGRATIONS & OT PROJECTS

Key Responsibilities

  • Define OT automation project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and regional requirements.

  • Design end-to-end architecture for SCADA/DCS using PLC/HMI platforms and enterprise integration systems.

  • Drive IT/OT integration to establish seamless data flow between operational systems (SCADA/PLC) and enterprise platforms (ERP, BI, etc.).

  • Review technical design documents, integration mapping, and testing protocols.

  • Assess and recommend automation hardware, platforms, and communication protocols.

  • Lead implementation and integration of middleware technologies including OPC servers, MQTT brokers, REST APIs, and industrial historians such as PI System.

  • Collaborate across Operations, IT, BP, and Logistics to align automation with business goals.

  • Manage vendor coordination, procurement, and project execution for SCADA/DCS and OT integration projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant Engineering discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience, ideally in petrochemical, gas, utility, or manufacturing sectors.

  • Proven experience in managing OT/SCADA migration projects.

  • Hands-on expertise with SCADA/DCS platforms such as Siemens, ABB, Rockwell, WinCC, Ignition.

  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, IEC 101/104, HART, field devices, RTUs, transmitters, PLCs).

  • Experience with OPC UA/DA, MQTT, REST APIs, and middleware solutions.

  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies, virtualization (VMs, Docker), and OT cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, NIST).

  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and reporting platforms.


SENIOR MANAGEMENT POSITION – VIGILANCE & SECURITY SERVICES

Role Overview

Lead, direct, and monitor all security and vigilance operations nationwide, ensuring safety, continuity of operations, and compliance with regulatory and intelligence bodies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Security & Vigilance Plan for all company sites.

  • Formulate and execute risk-mitigation and crisis-management strategies.

  • Oversee deployment of security technology systems including CCTV, biometric access, fire/intrusion detection, vehicle-tracking, and perimeter monitoring.

  • Conduct audits, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain liaison with LEAs, intelligence agencies, government departments, and other stakeholders.

  • Train and develop security personnel, enforcing discipline and professional standards.

  • Ensure OT systems operate under a secure architecture with improved visibility and reduced operational risk.

  • Supervise third-party security agencies and contractors.

  • Drive continuous improvement through technology-enabled efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Preferably retired officers (Colonel or equivalent), with experience in intelligence, counter-intelligence, or investigative agencies.

  • 10–15 years of relevant experience at national/provincial levels.

  • Strong experience conducting investigations, surveillance, and vigilance operations.

  • Understanding of statutory compliance and government liaison protocols.

  • Certifications in Criminology, Security Management, Risk Assessment, or Cyber/Information Security are preferred.


JUNIOR MANAGEMENT POSITION – INTEGRATIONS & OT PROJECTS

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Managers in planning and executing OT automation and integration projects.

  • Support configuration, testing, and deployment of SCADA/DCS systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and communication networks.

  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation including system configuration diagrams, testing protocols, and compliance checklists.

  • Track project progress and maintain quality documentation.

  • Support adherence to cybersecurity guidelines for OT environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Master’s in Electrical/Electronics or related Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.

  • Minimum 3–4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in oil & gas, utilities, or manufacturing sectors.

  • Understanding of SCADA/DCS platforms (Siemens, ABB, Rockwell).

  • Familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, IEC 101/104, Profibus).

  • Exposure to OPC UA/DA, MQTT, REST APIs, and middleware technologies.

  • Basic understanding of OT cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, NIST).

  • Knowledge of databases and data visualization tools is a plus.

  • Preferred age: not more than 40 years.


MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION – LUBRICANTS TECHNICAL SERVICES

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Lubricants Supply & Production for procurement and technical evaluations.

  • Benchmark existing products to identify performance improvement opportunities.

  • Assist R&D/labs in developing or enhancing lubricant formulations.

  • Prepare technical bulletins and distribute knowledge materials for stakeholders.

  • Provide technical support through customer queries, troubleshooting, and training.

  • Maintain updated technical content for catalogs, manuals, and internal resources.

  • Support manufacturing teams in improving quality controls.

  • Ensure continuity of certifications and licenses for lubricants.

  • Handle technical complaints, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 16 years of education in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in lubricant technical services.

  • Strong understanding of engines, compressors, turbines, and industrial machineries.

  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and relevant engineering software.

  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.

  • Experience in lubricant industry is mandatory.

  • Preferred age: not more than 40 years.
