WALK-IN INTERVIEW

Applications are invited as per the details given below to fill vacant posts in the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reserved under the Balochistan Quota:

Mathematics up to Intermediate level essential.
2 Sub-Engineer (Electronics) BS-13 01 (One) 18–25 (+5) = 30 Years (i) 03 years Post-Matric Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) from a recognized institution in Electronics/Electronic Instrument/Radio & Communication. (ii) Computer literate will be preferable.
3 Senior Observer BS-09 03 (Three) 18–25 (+5) = 30 Years F.Sc. 2nd Division (Pre-Engineering/Non-Medical). Computer literate will be preferable.
4 Observer BS-07 01 (One) 18–25 (+5) = 30 Years Matric 2nd Division in Science Group.
5 Radio Mechanic BS-07 01 (One) 18–25 (+5) = 30 Years Matric in Science Group with 03 years' experience of repairing Radio/TV. Computer literate will be preferable.
6 Balloon Maker BS-01 03 (Three) 18–25 (+5) = 30 Years Primary Pass
7 Naib Qasid BS-01 04 (Four) 18–25 (+5) = 30 Years Primary Pass
8 Chowkidar BS-01 02 (Two) 18–25 (+5) = 30 Years Primary Pass

TERMS & CONDITIONS

i. The recruitment shall be made in accordance with the recruitment policy conveyed by the Establishment Division O.M. No. 53/1/2008-SP dated 22-10-2014, O.M. No. 2/5/2026-BEFC/001 dated 22-10-2026, and O.M. No. 2/5/2026-BEFC/001 dated 27-10-2026, as amended from time to time. All posts shall be filled through Walk-in Interviews.

ii. Applicants already in government service shall apply through proper channel and shall be required to produce NOC/DPC at the time of the Walk-in Interview.

iii. No TA/DA shall be admissible for the purpose of the Walk-in Interview.

iv. Applicants are advised to frequently visit the PMD official website "weather.gov.pk" as no paper-based communication/intimation shall be issued to applicants.

v. Applicants shall be required to produce original CNIC, domicile, and all other educational credentials along with 01 set of documents (copies) at the time of the interview.

vi. Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are not allowed at the venue of the Walk-in Interview.

vii. Maximum age shall be calculated with effect from the last date of submitting applications.

viii. In addition to the existing 5 years' general relaxation in the upper age limit under prevailing Government Rules/Policy, all candidates will also be allowed an upper age relaxation of 5 years instead of the existing 3 years, only for this special exercise.

ix. Applicants are advised to report for the Walk-in Interview at 8:00 a.m. at the nearest designated station on the date mentioned in column-7 of the advertisement.

x. Applicants shall apply online through the "National Job Portal" available at https://njp.gov.pk within fifteen (15) days from the date of advertisement, i.e., 28-10-2026.
