JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Policy Board of Medical Teaching Institutions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has established a Section for Implementation and Management of Healthcare Information Systems (SIMHIS). This unit will function as a centralized and specialized Management Information Systems (MIS) Unit under the Policy Board, and is tasked with the planning, execution, and management of a uniform Health Management Information System (HMIS) across all Medical Teaching Institutions (MTIs) and healthcare facilities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The aim is to ensure a smooth digital transformation from existing manual or semi-digital systems to a comprehensive HMIS.

To support this important initiative, applications are invited from qualified candidates for the following technical positions. Appointments will be made on a one-year contract basis and may be either part-time or full-time, depending on the role and institutional requirements.

Available Positions

1. Director

Qualification: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or an equivalent field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT project management, preferably in the health sector.
Skills: Strong leadership, project planning, and stakeholder management skills.

2. Senior Project Manager

Qualification: Master’s degree in Information Technology or Project Management.
Experience: At least 7 years of experience in IT projects, specifically in healthcare systems. Experience in implementing Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems is highly desirable.

3. Junior Project Manager

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Project Management.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in project execution and coordination.

4. System Implementation Engineer

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software support, particularly within health IT systems.

5. Junior IT Technicians

Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in IT support services or system implementation roles.

6. IT Apprentices

Qualification: Diploma or degree in Information Technology.
Experience: Fresh candidates with a strong interest in digital healthcare transformation and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
