SITUATIONS VACANT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill the vacant posts of Medical Officers (BS-17) at various Cantonment Heads under Pakistan Cantonments Servants Rules, 1954 (as amended).

Available Vacancy:

Post Name: Medical Officer
Grade: BS-17

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: MBBS from a recognized university
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of house job and registration with the PMDC
  • Departmental Test & Interview: Required to qualify
  • Additional Experience: 3 years of experience in the relevant field (not counting house job)

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 27 years
  • Maximum: 35 years (Age calculated from the closing date of the application)

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Appointments will be made according to Pakistan Cantonment Servants Rules, 1954 (as amended).
  2. Transferability: The appointments for the vacant posts are transferable throughout Pakistan.
  3. Probation: Selected candidates will undergo a probationary period of one year as per the rules.
  4. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply and will undergo a Test & Interview to qualify.
  5. House job experience will not be counted toward total experience.
  6. Additional qualifications or specializations (such as FCPS) will be treated as additional qualifications and not experience.
  7. Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
  8. Applications should be submitted via the career portal: careers.mlc.gov.pk within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.

  10. Late applications will not be entertained.
  11. Age Relaxation: Upper age limits will be relaxed as per the rules.
  12. Candidates with experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
  13. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test and interview.
  14. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test/interview.
  15. The Military Lands and Cantonments Department reserves the right to postpone or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning reasons.
