Job Opportunities

The Tourism, Archaeology & Museums Department, Government of the Punjab, invites applications from qualified, experienced, and dedicated individuals holding Punjab domicile. Appointments will be made on a contract basis (lump sum pay package) under the provisions of the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004.

1. Media Coordinator

No. of Posts: 01

Qualification:

• 16 years of education (2nd Division / 2.5 CGPA) in:

  • Media Studies

  • Media & Communication

  • Mass Communication

  • Digital Media & Broadcast Journalism

• Degree must be from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 24 years

• Maximum: 29 years

Pay Package:

• Rs. 120,000 + 20% annual increase

2. Law Officer

No. of Posts: 01

Qualification & Experience:

• LLM or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university

• 2 years active practice as an advocate

• 2 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field (preferably in the tourism sector)

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 25 years

• Maximum: 28 years

Pay Package:

• Rs. 120,000 + 10% annual increase

3. Manager IT

No. of Posts: 01

Qualification:

• 16 years of education (2nd Division / 2.5 CGPA) in:

  • Information Technology

  • Computer Science

  • Telecommunication

  • Software Engineering

• Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university.

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 23 years

• Maximum: 28 years

Pay Package:

• Rs. 120,000–200,000 + 10% annual increase

4. Planning Officer

No. of Posts: 01

Qualification:

• 16 years of education (2nd Division / 2.5 CGPA) in:

  • Economics

  • Public Administration

  • Business Administration

  • Project Management

  • Mathematics

  • Statistics

• Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

• 2 years of relevant experience

• Preference for candidates with project planning experience

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 24 years

• Maximum: 29 years

Pay Package:

• Rs. 120,000 + 10% annual increase

5. Assistant (Project Planning)

Experience:

• 2 years experience in project planning

Age Limit:

• Maximum: 27 years

Pay Package:

• Rs. 70,000 + 10% annual increase

6. Junior Computer Operator

No. of Posts: 01

Qualification (Either of the following):

• Bachelor’s Degree (2nd Division / 2.5 CGPA) from HEC-recognized university
  OR

• Higher Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from recognized board

• 3-month diploma in MS Office from recognized institute

Additional Requirement:

• Typing speed of 40 words per minute (WPM) in English on computer

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 18 years

• Maximum: 25 years

Pay Package:

• Rs. 60,000 + 10% annual increase

General Conditions

1. All appointments will be made on contract basis (lump sum pay package) under the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004, initially for three years (extendable based on satisfactory performance).

2. The contract is temporary, non-transferable, job/post specific, non-pensionable, and does not confer any right for regularization.

3. Recruitment will be conducted under:

   • Contract Appointment Policy, 2004

   • Recruitment Policy, 2022 (Government of Punjab)

4. Candidates must apply online through the Punjab Jobs Online Portal.

5. Candidates already working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel.

6. No hard copy of application will be accepted.

7. The department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.

8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

9. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of Punjab notification (S&GAD Regulation Wing letter dated 08.08.2016).

10. Only post-qualification practical experience will be considered.

11. No TA/DA will be admissible during the recruitment process.
