Career Opportunities

The Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO), operating under the Ministry of Defence Production, Government of Pakistan, is establishing a Project Management Team to strengthen and expand DEPO’s mission of promoting Pakistan’s defence exports.

Applications are invited from qualified, dynamic, and result-oriented professionals for the following positions on a one-year contractual basis, extendable annually based on performance and project milestones.

1. Marketing Manager / Executive

Description:
The Marketing Manager/Executive will be responsible for leading marketing initiatives, organizing events, exhibitions, and promoting Pakistan’s defence export capabilities both locally and internationally.

Required Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in event marketing, exhibitions, or space sales.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in defence exhibitions or export promotion initiatives.

2. IT Specialist (Digital Systems & AI / Website Management)

Description:
The IT Specialist will oversee digital systems, software platforms, and website management to enhance DEPO’s operational efficiency through technology and automation.

Required Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 5–8 years of experience in IT systems development, event/hospitality software, or digital transformation projects.

• Knowledge of AI-based analytics or automation tools will be an added advantage.

3. Legal Specialist (Contract Management)

Description:
The Legal Specialist will provide expert legal guidance on contracts, procurement, and public-private partnership (PPP) projects to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualification & Experience:

• LLB (mandatory); LLM or specialization in Commercial, Corporate, or PPP Law preferred.

• 7–10 years of professional experience in contract management, procurement, or PPP/infrastructure projects.

4. Financial Specialist (Mega Project Management)

Description:
The Financial Specialist will manage financial planning, analysis, and structuring for DEPO’s major projects, ensuring fiscal responsibility and strategic investment.

Required Qualification & Experience:

• Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, ICMA, ACCA, or a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.

• 7–10 years of experience in financial modelling, PPP transaction structuring, or project finance.

5. Technical Construction Specialist (Planning & Execution)

Description:
The Technical Construction Specialist will supervise project planning, design reviews, and execution phases of DEPO’s large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Required Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in planning, design review, and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects.

6. Trade Specialist

Description:
The Trade Specialist will support DEPO in international trade operations, export promotion, customs and shipping processes, and coordination with global trade bodies.

Required Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or International Trade.

• 5–8 years of experience in international trade, import/export procedures, customs clearance, shipping, or logistics.

General Terms and Conditions

• Maximum Age: 50 years for all positions.

• Education: All degrees and certifications must be HEC-recognized (verification may be required).

• Compensation: Market-based and negotiable, commensurate with qualification and experience.

• These are project-based contractual positions and do not confer permanent employment rights with DEPO or any other government entity.
