CAREER OPPORTUNITY

POSITION: MANAGING DIRECTOR (MD)

PRIVATE POWER & INFRASTRUCTURE BOARD (PPIB)

The Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan, invites applications from highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic professionals for appointment to the position of Managing Director (MD) at the Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB).

Position Details

Position Title: Managing Director (MD)
Organization: Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB)

Required Qualifications

  • A professional degree with a minimum of sixteen (16) years of education from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in any of the following fields:

    • Law

    • Business Administration

    • Engineering

    • Finance

    • Accounting

    • Economics

    • Power / Energy Sector or related disciplines

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum twenty (20) years of relevant professional experience in law, business, engineering, finance, accounting, economics, or the power/energy industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex challenges, assume responsibility, and make effective and timely decisions.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage teams of experienced professionals and foster a productive working environment.

Perks, Privileges & Remuneration

  • The Managing Director shall receive remuneration, allowances, privileges, and facilities as determined by the Board of PPIB, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

  • Terms and conditions shall not be varied to the disadvantage of the incumbent during the tenure.

Tenure of Appointment

  • Three (03) years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.

  • The incumbent shall cease to hold office upon attaining the age of sixty-five (65) years.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: Sixty-two (62) years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

Nationality & Domicile

  • Nationality: Pakistani

  • Domicile: Open on merit basis

Other Terms & Conditions

  • Civil servants and public sector employees must apply through proper channel.
