Punjab Thermal Power (Pvt.) Ltd. (PTPL) is a government-owned company established to develop and operate a 1263 MW RLNG-based Combined Cycle Power Plant in District Jhang, which is now operational. PTPL is committed to producing affordable and reliable electricity to help resolve the national energy crisis through adherence to high standards of construction, technology, and service delivery.

?? Position: Manager Operations

No. of Positions: 01
Place of Posting: Head Office (Lahore) or Site Office (Jhang)

? Qualification:

4-year Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.

? Experience:

Minimum 4 years of experience in the operations and performance of Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Plants.

Practical knowledge of safety management systems, including safety rules, risk assessments, and process safety.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in Independent Power Producers (IPPs) in a similar role.

b) Academic degrees must be from HEC-recognized universities/institutions. Foreign degrees require an HEC equivalence certificate.

d) Experience will only be considered from government organizations or private entities registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or another regulatory authority.
e) Government employees must apply through the proper channel, with a NOC from their respective department.
f) Shortlisting will be based on qualification and relevant experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a test/interview.
g) Final selection will be made as per the Company’s Manual/Policies.
h) No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test/interview.
