SITUATIONS VACANT

Korangi Fisheries Harbour Authority (KoFHA) invites applications from eligible and qualified candidates for appointment against the following temporary posts:

1. Manager (Navigation)

Post(s): 01
BPS: 18
Maximum Age Limit: 35 years

Qualification & Experience:

Candidates must possess one of the following:

  • Master Mariner (FG) with 02 years experience on a ship
    OR

  • First Mate with 05 years shipboard experience
    OR

  • IT/IT CDR (Navy) (Preferably Long “ND”) with 02 years experience as Harbour Master / CD NHM
    OR

  • LT / LT CDR (Navy) (Preferably Long “ND”) with 02 years shipboard experience

2. Assistant Manager (Quality Control)

Maximum Age Limit: 30 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • B.Sc with Chemistry or Zoology

  • Minimum 02 years relevant experience

  • Background in Food Science, Food Technology (FT), or Marine Sciences

  • Knowledge of food safety standards will be considered an added advantage

3. Senior Draftsman

Post(s): 01
BPS: 15
Maximum Age Limit: 25 years

Qualification:

  • Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) – Civil
    OR

  • Tech (Civil)

Experience:

Minimum 05 years post-qualification experience in:

  • Preparing technical drawings for civil and marine structures (jetties, harbour works, boundary walls, drainage systems, etc.)

  • Working with AutoCAD and other drafting software

  • Structural detailing, BOQ preparation, and producing working drawings for construction/maintenance projects

  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in port or harbour-related projects

  1. Pay, allowances, and other facilities will be provided as per the Basic Pay Scale (BPS) rules.
