Manager – Craft & Enterprise Development (CED)

Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) is seeking a qualified, dynamic, and visionary professional to lead its Craft & Enterprise Development (CED) initiatives. This role is pivotal in empowering rural artisans, fostering business development, and creating sustainable market linkages.

?? Qualification & Experience:

Education:

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, Textile/Fashion Designing, or a related field.

OR Bachelor's degree in the above fields with enhanced experience.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in craft development, enterprise management, or related sectors.

Out of which at least 2 years must be in a management/supervisory role.

If holding a bachelor’s degree, minimum 7 years of relevant experience is required with 3 years in a supervisory position.

?? Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership, team building, and coordination capabilities.

Practical knowledge of craft/product development and enterprise management.

Expertise in market research, craft innovation, and vendor/customer linkage development.

Experience in managing exhibitions, branding campaigns, and public events.

Ability to develop policies, oversee strategic plans, and perform internal audits.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Digital proficiency in managing websites, e-commerce platforms, and social media.

?? Key Responsibilities:

Lead field, production, and marketing teams to develop innovative, market-aligned craft products.

Supervise R&D activities for continuous product development and design enhancement.

Build the capacity of Business Development Groups (BDGs) through targeted training programs.

Maintain proper documentation and ensure financial compliance, including timely wage payments.

Establish and strengthen partnerships with national and international vendors, brands, and institutions.

Organize and manage craft exhibitions, especially the flagship Sartyoon Sang Exhibition.

Oversee the development, content, and operations of the official Shopify e-commerce website for SRSO’s CED wing.

Manage social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and increase digital sales.

Collaborate with procurement, finance, and audit departments for compliance and support.

Contribute to updating strategic and policy documents related to CED.

30 to 45 years (Relaxable in special cases based on experience and expertise).
