SITUATION VACANT

A Public Sector Autonomous Body operating under the control of the Government of Punjab invites applications from qualified and experienced legal professionals for the position of:

Legal Consultant

(Consultancy Basis)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and written opinions on statutory, regulatory, and other legal matters.

  • Represent the Authority in legal proceedings before courts and other legal forums, as and when required.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Possession of a valid license to practice law issued by the Punjab Bar Council.

  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience as an Advocate of the High Court.

  • Preference will be given to:

    • Candidates with greater experience than the minimum required.

    • Those having prior experience working with Government Bodies or Regulatory Authorities.

Duration & Remuneration

  • The appointment will be on a Consultancy Contract basis, initially for one year, extendable based on satisfactory performance.

  • Remuneration will be negotiable, subject to final approval as per the Authority’s rules and available budget.

  • Candidates must clearly mention their expected remuneration/demand in the application.
