The University of Home Economics Lahore invites applications from Pakistani nationals for Visiting Faculty positions for the academic year 2025–2026.

1. Positions Available at University of Home Economics, Lahore

  • Design & Arts: Textile Design, Fashion Design, Textile and Clothing, Art and Design Anthropology, Digital Art and New Media, Virtual Reality Art, Interactive Art, Visual Communication Design (Graphic Design), Digital Illustrator, Game Design & Animation, Interior Design

  • Humanities & Social Sciences: Pakistan Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Applied Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology

  • Core Disciplines: Education, Computer Science, Health & Physical Education, Sociology, Economics, Fine Arts, Persian, Psychology, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Statistics, Urdu, English, Islamic Studies, Pakistan Studies, Commerce

  • Specialization in Home Economics:

    • Food & Nutrition

    • Child Development

    • Art & Design

    • Textile & Clothing

    • Home Management

Minimum Qualification:

  • BS/Master’s (16 years of education) in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution

  • No 3rd division in academic career allowed unless the candidate holds a PhD or equivalent degree, in which case only one 3rd division in their career is permissible.

    Send applications via Registered Mail/Courier to:

  3. Application Must Include:

    • Duly filled Application Form

    • Original Challan Form (HR & Accounts copy)

    • Attested copies of academic documents and CNIC

    • One passport-size photograph affixed on the form

  4. Application Processing Fee:

    • University Positions: Rs. 1,000/-

    • College Positions: Rs. 500/-

    • Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable

    • Do not send a copy of the Challan Form – only the original will be accepted

  5. Envelope Labeling: Clearly mention:

    • Post Applied For (e.g., Visiting Faculty or Visiting Teacher)

    • Subject/Discipline

    • On the top-right corner of the envelope

  6. Multiple Applications:
    For multiple subjects/disciplines, submit separate application forms and separate challan forms for each.

  7. Government Employees:
    Candidates already in service must apply through proper channel, or their applications will not be entertained.
