This document is an official "Positions Vacant" announcement (Advertisement 11/2026) from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan. The university invites applications from suitable candidates for a teaching position on a contract basis.

1. Available Position:

• Title: Lecturer (BPS-18) - 03 Years Contract

• Department: Department of Electrical Engineering - 03 posts

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years

• Minimum Qualification:

  • Master's Degree (First Class) in Electrical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with no 3rd division in the academic career.

• Experience: No experience required.

• Mandatory Requirement: PEC Registration in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.

2. Application Process (Two-Stage Process):

Stage 1: ETEA Screening Test (Online Application)

1. Create Profile: All candidates must create a profile on the ETEA website: www.etea.edu.pk.

2. CNIC Verification: After creating the profile, print the E-Sahulat token from ETEA's website and get your CNIC verified at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without this verification, you cannot apply.

3. Apply Online: Submit the online application on the ETEA website.

4. Generate Deposit Slip: Upon successful submission, a prescribed online deposit slip containing your token number, project code, and personal information will be generated.

5. Deposit Test Fee: Deposit the prescribed non-refundable test fee through Easypaisa app, Easypaisa agent, or any branch of UBL Bank using the generated deposit slip. Retain the original deposit slip (candidate copy) with the bank's stamp.

6. No Documents to ETEA: After online submission, you are not required to send any documents or testimonials to the ETEA office.

7. Timeline:

   • Online application form available from: August 25, 2026

   • Last date for submission of applications: September 15, 2026

8. Roll No. Slip: Candidates will be informed via SMS by ETEA to download and print their Roll No. Slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Do not provide converted/ported mobile numbers. No separate call letter will be issued by post or courier. Test date, time, and venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip.

Stage 2: University Application (After Qualifying ETEA Test)

1. Submit University Application: Candidates who qualify the ETEA written test shall submit the application form (available on the university website: www.uetmardan.edu.pk) along with attested photocopies of:

   • Educational testimonials (Degrees, Certificates, Transcripts/DMCs)

   • Experience certificates (if applicable)

   • Copy of CNIC

   • Domicile

   • One recent photograph

   • Processing Fee of Rs. 2,000/- deposited in the University Account:

     • Title: "Miscellaneous Fund UETM"

     • Branch Code: 0179

     • Account No: 003001354859

     • Bank: Bank of Khyber (any branch throughout Pakistan)

2. Submission Deadline: All documents must be submitted within 15 days of the intimation of results.

3. In-Service Candidates: Must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their concerned department/organization.

3. Key Terms & Conditions:

• Eligibility Cut-off Date: Eligibility shall be reckoned by the last date of receipt of applications for the ETEA test (September 15, 2026).

• Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be considered in light of government rules on a case-to-case basis.

• Foreign Degrees: Applicants with foreign degrees must provide an Equivalency Certificate from HEC/IBCC before the closing date.

• Language: Degrees in languages other than English must be accompanied by an officially verified English translation.

• Percentage Certificate: If transcripts/DMCs do not explicitly mention percentage marks, an official percentage certificate from the Controller of Examinations is required.

• Experience: Only supported by an Experience Certificate from the HR/Establishment section of the concerned institution.

• Research Publications: Provide complete bibliographic details (title, author(s), journal name, ISSN, volume, date). Only HEC-recognized publications will be considered.

• Document Authenticity: Upload only valid and authentic documents. Any fake or forged documents will lead to rejection and may entail legal action.

• Shortlisting: Only eligible, shortlisted applicants will be called for demonstration and interview.

• Rights Reserved: The University reserves the right to withhold, cancel, postpone, increase, decrease, or not fill any advertised position without assigning any reason.

• No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance shall be admissible for appearing in the test and interview.
