VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore, invites applications from Pakistani Nationals (Punjab Domicile) for the following contract-based positions. The appointment is for a fixed term of three (03) years, non-extendable.

1. Registrar (BPS-20)

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 40 to 50 years

  • Required Qualifications & Experience:
    Candidate must fulfill one of the following qualification pathways:

    Option A:

    • Ph.D. in any discipline from an HEC-recognized university/DAI

    • 8 years post-PhD experience (teaching/administrative/professional) in a public/private HEC-recognized university/DAI or public sector organization

    Option B:

    • MS/M.Phil. or 18 years of education in any discipline from an HEC-recognized university/DAI

    • 10 years post-qualification experience in relevant fields

    Option C:

    • MA/MSc or 16 years of education (minimum 2nd division) from an HEC-recognized university/DAI

    • 12 years post-qualification experience in relevant fields

  1. Application Package:

    • One-page CV

    • Attested photocopies of academic credentials, CNIC, domicile, recent photograph, and experience certificates

  2. Application Form & Fee:

    • Available from LCWU during working hours (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM) upon payment of Rs. 3,000/-

    • Forms and challan can also be downloaded from: www.lcwu.edu.pk

  3. Submission Deadline:
    8th July, 2025

  4. Mailing Applicants:

    • Must attach a Bank Draft of Rs. 3,000/- (per post) in favor of Treasurer, LCWU

    • Clearly mention the Post Name on the envelope

  5. Important Notes:

    • Only HEC-recognized degrees are acceptable

    • Foreign degree holders must attach equivalence certificates from HEC

    • Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained

    • Candidates with equivalent qualifications must provide equivalence certificates from HEC

    • Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through proper channel

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews; a written test may be conducted

    • Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules

    • No TA/DA will be provided
