Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW) invites applications from suitable candidates for the following positions on a contract basis:

🔹 1. Deputy Manager (Engineering Design)

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech/DAE in Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience:

    • BE: Minimum 05–08 years

    • B.Tech/DAE: 10–20 years

    • Must have experience in the design of Barrage Gates, Stop Logs, Sluice Gates, Pressure Vessels, Oil & Gas equipment, and Overhead/Gantry Cranes

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Design Calculations

    • Stress / Deflection Analysis

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ABACUS, ANSYS

  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

🔹 2. Assistant Manager (Engineering Design)

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech/DAE in Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience:

    • BE: At least 03 years

    • B.Tech/DAE: 08–15 years

    • Hands-on experience in drafting/designing of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Boilers, and Oil Field Facilities

  • Preferred Skills:

    • AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ABACUS, ANSYS

  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

🔹 3. Boat Driver/Crew

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Qualification: Matric / DAE (Mechanical)

  • Experience:

    • At least 03 years in Boat Operations and VHF communication

  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

🔹 4. Electrician

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Qualification: Matric / DAE (Electrical) – Preferred

  • Experience:

    • 02–03 years in the relevant field

    • Candidates with a valid wireman license will be preferred

  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

🔹 5. Mechanical Fitter

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Qualification: Matric / DAE (Mechanical) – Preferred

  • Experience:

    • 02–03 years in the relevant field

  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

🔹 6. Fork Lifter Operator

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Qualification: Middle / Matric

  • Experience:

    • 02–03 years in operating forklifts

    • Candidates with a trade course (03–06 months) will be preferred

  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years
