JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Cooperative Department, Government of Sindh, invites applications from eligible candidates holding domicile of Sindh Province for recruitment against various vacant positions.

All appointments will be made through a transparent and merit-based process via the Sindh Job Portal.

Details of Vacant Positions

1. Stenographer

  • Basic Pay Scale (BPS): 14
  • Age Limit: 21 to 28 years
  • Number of Posts: 103 (Karachi & Hyderabad)

Required Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university
  • Minimum shorthand speed of 120 words per minute
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute (English)
  • Certificate in MS Office from a recognized institute

2. Data Entry Operator

  • Basic Pay Scale (BPS): 12
  • Age Limit: 21 to 28 years

Required Qualification & Skills:

  • Intermediate (minimum 2nd Division) or equivalent qualification
  • Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized board
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

3. Junior Clerk

  • Basic Pay Scale (BPS): 11
  • Age Limit: 21 to 28 years
  • Number of Posts: 38 (including Urban and Rural quotas)

Required Qualification & Skills:

  • Graduation (minimum 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university
  • Minimum 6-month certification in MS Office from a recognized institute

General Terms and Conditions

1. Application Procedure

  • Candidates must apply online only through the Sindh Job Portal:

  • Applications submitted by any other method will not be accepted

2. Mandatory Test Requirement

  • Applicants must have passed the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) General Screening Test
  • A minimum score of 40% is required
  • A valid STS certificate must be provided

3. Age Relaxation

  • General age relaxation of up to 5 years will be granted as per Government of Sindh rules

4. Validity of STS Test

  • STS test results conducted in January 2023 and June 2023
  • Valid until 30 June 2028

5. Government Employees

  • Candidates already serving in Government or Semi-Government departments must:
    • Apply through proper channel
    • Submit a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview

6. Selection Procedure

  • Selection will be strictly based on:
    • STS test scores
    • Eligibility criteria
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview

7. Application Deadline

  • Applications must be submitted within 20 days of the advertisement publication date

8. Important Instructions

  • No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test/interview
  • Submission of false or misleading information will result in:
    • Immediate disqualification
    • Permanent blacklisting on the Sindh Job Portal
