We Are Hiring – ACAG Program

The Urban Unit, operating under the Planning & Development Department (P&DD), Government of Punjab, invites applications from qualified professionals for multiple positions under the:

“Apna Chhat Apna Ghar (ACAG) Program”

Program Overview

The Apna Chhat Apna Ghar (ACAG) Program, a special initiative of the Chief Minister Punjab, aims to provide 100,000 affordable housing units/apartments to eligible residents across the province.

This initiative is designed to support low-income families, particularly those currently living in:

  • Rented accommodations
  • Informal housing arrangements

The program includes:

  • Physical verification of applicants’ plot locations
  • Monitoring and verification of construction progress
  • Implementation and oversight by The Urban Unit

Available Positions

1. Junior Engineer (Civil)

  • No. of Vacancies: 32
  • Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Qualification & Experience

  • BSc / BE in:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Environmental Engineering
  • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university
  • Experience:
    • 6 months to 1 year preferred
  • Eligibility:
    • Fresh candidates with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields are also encouraged to apply

2. Senior Project Monitoring, Coordination & Reporting Officer

  • No. of Vacancies: 3
  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years

Qualification & Experience

  • BSc / BE or equivalent (16 years education) in:
    • Civil / Environmental / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
    • BBA
    • Urban Planning
    • Architecture
    • Social Sciences
    • Pure Sciences
    • Finance / CA / HR or related fields
  • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year relevant experience

3. Project Manager – Coordination, Communication & Monitoring

  • No. of Vacancies: 1
  • Age Limit: Up to 40 years

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum 16 years of education in:
    • Business Studies
    • Development Studies
    • Finance
    • Engineering
    • Applied Sciences
    • Pure Sciences
    • Social Sciences
  • Preference:
    • Foreign-qualified candidates
    • Higher academic qualifications
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in:
      • Project management
      • Development projects
      • Public sector program planning, design, and monitoring
