JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited for appointment on Contract Basis from suitable candidates having the required qualifications and experience for the posts mentioned below, as per the eligibility criteria defined in the Punjab Health Department rules and regulations:

Available Positions:

  1. Junior Clerk

    • No. of Posts: 11
    • BPS: 03
    • Age: 18-25 Years
    • Qualification:
      • Higher Secondary Certificate (second division) from a recognized board.
      • A typing speed of 25 words per minute on a computer in English.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or any other compatible office application.

  2. Almoner

    • No. of Posts: 09
    • BPS: 01
    • Age: 18-25 Years
    • Qualification:
      • Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
      • At least three years' experience in Accountancy/Treasury work.
      • Higher technical qualifications preferred.

  3. Junior Technician (Pharmacy)

    • No. of Posts: 01
    • BPS: 09
    • Age: 18-25 Years
    • Qualification:
      • P.Sc (second division) with a diploma in relevant allied health sciences from a recognized board.
      • If no qualified candidates are available, candidates with Matric (second division) and a two-year diploma in the relevant discipline may also apply.

  4. Junior Technician (Surgical)

    • No. of Posts: 09

    • Qualification:

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Contract Duration:
    Appointments will be made on a contract basis under the "Contract Appointment Policy 2004" (amended till date), initially for 3 years, extendable based on good performance.

  2. Domicile:
    Both male and female applicants with domicile in Punjab can apply. Transgender individuals are encouraged to apply.

  3. Age Relaxation:
    Age relaxation will be granted as per the Government of Punjab's S&GAD Notification & Recruitment Policy 2022.

  4. Documents:

    • Equivalence Certificate: For candidates with foreign qualifications or those having 'O' and 'A' levels.
    • Disability Certificate: For Special Persons, proof of registration from the Social Welfare Department must be submitted.

  5. Test and Interview:

    • Candidates must have at least 50% marks in the NTS test to qualify for the interview.
    • Candidates will be shortlisted based on NTS test results and contacted for an interview.

  6. Application Process:

    • Candidates must apply online via the National Testing Service (NTS) website: www.nts.org.
    • Completed application forms along with required documents must be sent to NTS via courier.

  7. Important Dates:

    • Last date for submission: 08.01.2025.
    • The written test date will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.

  8. TA/DA:
    No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test or interview.

  9. Miscellaneous:

    • Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
    • The department reserves the right to cancel, modify, or decrease the number of posts at any stage.
