CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

1. ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) is the apex regulatory authority responsible for overseeing Pakistan's Capital Market and Corporate Sector. The Commission invites applications from qualified, result-oriented, and dynamic professionals who possess impeccable integrity, strong analytical skills, and technical expertise for the following contractual positions based in Islamabad.

2. VACANCY DETAILS

Position 1: Joint Director – Information Systems & Technology Division (IS&TD)

 
Detail Description
Location Islamabad
Number of Positions 01
Qualification Master's or Bachelor's degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related disciplines from an HEC-recognized university/institute.

Preference: Professional-level certifications in Network and Cybersecurity (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet NSE).
Experience At least 10 years of post-qualification experience related to Network Communication and IT Operations.
Age Limit Maximum age should not exceed 45 years as on the closing date for submission of applications.

Position 2: Assistant Director – Listed and Unlisted Companies Supervision Department (Supervision Division)

Qualification Master's or Bachelor's degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institution; OR
CA / ACCA / CMA.
Experience At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate regulation, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, corporate governance, audit, accounting, capital markets, or related areas.

Note: For Qualified Chartered Accountants, the articleship period will be considered part of the requisite experience.
Age Limit Maximum age should not exceed 35 years as on the closing date for submission of applications.

Relaxation: Candidates with at least 3 years of experience working with a regulator will be given 5 years of age relaxation.

Position 3: Assistant Director – Licensing Division

Qualification Master's or Bachelor's degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Law, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institution; OR
CA / ACCA / CMA.
Experience At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in regulatory bodies, financial institutions, capital markets, insurance, NBFCs, corporate/legal affairs, regulatory compliance, licensing, or related areas.

Note: For Qualified Chartered Accountants, the articleship period will be considered part of the requisite experience.
Age Limit Maximum age should not exceed 35 years as on the closing date for submission of applications.

Relaxation: Candidates with at least 3 years of experience working with a regulator will be given 5 years of age relaxation.

3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A. Nature of Appointment:

  • Appointments shall be made on a contractual basis for a term of three (3) years, extendable based on organizational need and performance.

  • The Commission may consider regularization of these positions after completion of three years, subject to fulfillment of the criteria prescribed for this purpose.
