Department of Irrigation – Shahpur Canal Division, Sargodha

Overview:
Applications are invited on a temporary basis for the recruitment of skilled and unskilled labourers in the Shahpur Canal Division, Sargodha, for the year 2025-26. These labourers will be assigned duties related to watching and maintenance of canals, flood embankments, dry outlets (Sukha To), inquiries, and developmental works.

Eligibility Criteria & Conditions:

  1. Domicile Requirement:

    • The candidate must be a resident of Shahpur Division LJC, Sargodha.

    • Preference will be given to candidates residing near canals and embankments in Shahpur Division.

  2. Nature of Employment:

    • All posts are purely temporary.

    • No candidate shall claim permanent employment through court or any other forum.

  3. Documents Required:

    • Attested copies of educational certificates, domicile, and CNIC must be attached with the application.

  4. Duration of Employment:

    • Candidates will be hired for a specific duration of 89 days under departmental rules and regulations.

  5. Dismissal Clause:

    • The department reserves the right to terminate services without notice.

  6. Reapplication Option:

    • Employees dismissed due to absenteeism or changing needs can reapply during the last week of each month at the concerned sub-division office.

    • Their interview/test will be held by a committee during the same week.

  7. Interview Policy:

    • No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.

    • No separate call letters will be issued.

    • Candidates must appear on the date mentioned in the advertisement with their original documents.

    • Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
