The Divisional Forest Officer of the Forest and Wildlife Training School, Miani, Hyderabad invites applications from capable and hardworking young graduates for ten (10) internship positions.

About the Internship Program:

This internship program aims to:

Provide practical training to youth in forest management, policy-making, and achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Offer new opportunities in environmental conservation and afforestation.

Equip selected candidates with hands-on experience in:

Sustainable forest systems

Plantation (afforestation)

Social forestry

Urban forestry

Environmental protection

Program Objectives:

Provide practical exposure to forestry systems, policies, and administrative matters.

Develop skills in GIS, remote sensing, climate change adaptation, and carbon credit mechanisms.

Enhance research capacity in fields like environmental sciences, engineering, and economics.

Promote innovation in biodiversity conservation and natural disaster risk management.

Professionally prepare youth for the sustainable use of forests and environmental conservation.

Eligibility Criteria:

Fresh graduates from HEC-recognized universities with degrees in:

Forestry

Forest Engineering

GIS

Remote Sensing

Climate Change

Environmental Sciences

Environmental Engineering

Environmental Economics

Botany

Disaster and Risk Management

Language Proficiency:

Must be proficient in English (both written and spoken).

Preference will be given to candidates with published research.

Duration and Stipend:

Internship Duration: 3 months

Monthly Stipend: PKR 25,000 (based on performance)
