Hyderabad Electric Supply Company Ltd. (Company) is a power distribution company fully owned by Government of Pakistan, with a work force of more than 10000 employees and a network of transmission lines upto 132 KV Sub-Stations, High/Low Tension Lines / Feeders. It is providing electricity to more than one million consumers of 13 districts of Southern Sindh (except Karachi). It is now establishing a new department (MIRAD) for performing jobs under CTBM which is to be headed by Director General (MIRAD).

HESCO is seeking suitable candidates for the following positions of Contract Management & Regulatory Affairs under Director General Market Implementation and Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD) to be based at HESCO Head Office Hyderabad. The prospective candidates are expected to be dynamic, having proven track record of integrity, legal & contract management and should be a leader with a vision to deliver in the challenging work environment meeting the following criteria:-

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of total experience including 3 years of experience in Power Sector. The experience in the relevant field will be given preference.
  • The candidate should possess understanding of regulatory affairs.
  • Knowledge of competitive electricity markets will be an added advantage.
Upto 45 Years
2 Assistant Manager (Contract Management) BPS-17 No. of Post: 2 Qualification
Bachelors or equivalent degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics) I Finance 7 Accounting / Law / Management Sciences from reputable HEC recognized universities
Experience
Minimum 2 years of total experience. Having 1 year experience in relevant field will be given preference.
Upto 35 Years
3 Assistant Manager (Regulatory Affairs) BPS-17 No. of Post: 1 Qualification
Bachelors or equivalent degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics) / Law I Management Sciences from reputable HEC recognized universities.
Experience-
Minimum 2 years of total experience. Having 1 year experience in relevant field will be given preference.
Upto 35 Years
4 Assistant Manager (Finance) BPS-17 No. of Post: 2 Qualification:-
Min:qualification CA (Inter)/ACMA (Inter) or M.Com/ MBA (Finance) / B.Com (Hons) 04 years course / BBA Finance (Hons) 04 years course with 02 years' post qualification experience in BPS-16 or equivalent thereof in Audit and Accounts of Govt. Department/ Semi Govt.Organization/Corporations/autonomous bodies or large commercial organization or large public limited companies of repute.
  • Computer literacy is mandatory
Experience
Minimum 2 years of total experience. Having 1 year experience in relevant field will be given preference.
Upto 35 Years
5 Assistant Manager (Transmission Planning) BPS-17 No. of Post: 2 Qualification
Bachelors or equivalent degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics) from reputable HEC recognized universities
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of total experience including 1 year of experience in Transmission Planning.
  • Candidate should possess understanding of transmission planning and hands-on experience on Power System Study Tools such as PSS/E or ETAP will be given preference.
Upto 35 Years
6 Assistant Manager (Demand Forecasting) BPS-17 No. of Post: 2 Qualification
Bachelors or equivalent degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics) from reputable HEC recognized universities
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of total experience including 1 year of experience in Demand Forecasting.
  • Candidate possessing understanding of demand forecasting will be given preference.
Upto 35 Years
7 Manager (Legal / Contract) BPS-19 No. of Post: 1 Qualification
Degree in Law (LLB). Masters in Law or Barrister in Law will have additional advantage.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of total experience. Experience in power sector will be given preference.
  • Candidate having understanding of legal and regulatory affairs associated with the power sector including laws, rules. regulations etc and the contractual framework for power / energy sales and purchases will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of competitive electricity markets will be an added advantage.
Upto 50 Years
8 Deputy Manager (Legal / Contract) BPS-18 No. of Post: 1 Qualification
Degree in Law (LLB). Masters in Law or Barrister in Law will have additional advantage
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of total experience including 3 years of experience in power sector. Experience in the relevant field will be given preference.
  • Candidates having understanding of legal and regulatory affairs associated with power sector including laws, rules, regulations etc and contractual framework for power I energy sales and purchases will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of competitive electricity market will be an added advantage.
Upto 50 Years
9 Assistant Manager (Admn) BPS-17 No. of Post: 1 Qualification
MBA/MPA/MA(HRM)/M.Com/M.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent / M.Sc or Masters Degree in Economics, English. Statistics & Mathematics with minimum two 1st Divisions in academic career and capable of operating computer with special _emphasis on windows and MS Office.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of total experience including 1 year of experience in HR & Admin directorate.
  • Candidate should possess understanding of HR and Admin related matters pertaining to MIRAD etc.
Upto 35 Years

  1. The candidates will be offered market based negotiable package.

  1.   3. Candidates already serving in Govt: / Semi-Govt: / Autonomous public organizations are required to mention it clearly and NOC from their parent Deptt: / Organization must be attached
  4. Candidates shall be required to produce all the original documents at the time of interview.
  5. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview & no TA / DA will be admissible in this regard.
  6. Candidates dismissed / terminated from any organization or having criminal record shall not be eligible. A declaration on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- to the above effect should be provided at the time of interview.
  7. The applications submitted by the candidates will be at their own risk & cost. Any information found bogus at any stage, during induction or later on, in service, will result in termination or candidate or employment thereof.
  8. Age relaxation as per policy in vogue in HESCO has already been included in above mentioned age limit and no further age relaxation will be granted in any case.
  9. The above mentioned positions are purely contractual in nature, non-pensionable, no long-term benefits and same shall not be converted into permanent position at any stage.
  10. The appointment will be subject to fulfilment of all the codal / legal / administrative & all other required formalities / requirements.
  11. HESCO reserves the right to withhold or cancel the whole recruitment process of all or any post at any stage without assigning any reason.
