WE ARE LOOKING FOR: HEAD – PUBLIC RELATIONS

IBA Karachi invites applications for the position of Head, Public Relations from dynamic individuals who can serve as the institution's official spokesperson and lead its media relations, public engagement, and institutional reputation management.

Role Responsibilities

The Head, Public Relations will be responsible for leading, shaping, and executing the following activities:

  • Media Relations & Spokesperson

  • Crisis Communications & Management

  • Executive Advisory on Public Information

  • Reputation Management

  • Press Releases & Speeches

  • Media Network Management

Qualification & Experience

  • Master's degree from a reputable foreign or local HEC-recognized university.

  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years of experience related to media relations, public relations & crisis communications.

  • Strong knowledge of local and regional media; writing and presentation skills; ability to advise senior leadership on strategic and sensitive communication issues, press releases and media materials; and handling media queries.

  • Established media editorial contacts and experience in a university setting will be an added advantage.

  • Relaxation in academic qualifications may be considered for candidates holding at least a Bachelor's degree from a reputable foreign or local university, provided they have substantial senior-level experience directly related to media relations, public relations, and crisis communications.
