Career Opportunity

Position:
Group Head Corporate & Investment Banking

Bank of Khyber is looking for a highly skilled and goal-oriented professional to lead its Corporate & Investment Banking segment. This is a prestigious opportunity to work in one of Pakistan's premier financial institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

  • Minimum education required: Graduation.
  • Preference for Master’s degree in:
    • Business Administration
    • Accounting
    • Finance
    • Commerce
    • Economics
    • Equivalent degrees recognized by HEC of Pakistan.
  • For foreign qualifications: Candidates must possess an equivalency certificate from HEC of Pakistan.
  • Additional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or FRM are an added advantage.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of Corporate/Investment Banking experience in the Financial Services Industry.
    • At least 5 years at a senior level.
    • Preference for candidates with Islamic banking experience.
  • Exemption: Candidates currently heading the overall Corporate & Investment Banking function in a Financial Institution are exempted from the above experience criteria.

Age Limit:

  • Governed under the Bank’s HR Rules.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in:
    • Corporate lending
    • Trade finance
    • Investment banking
    • Treasury services
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of solutions.
  • Implement strong risk assessment and management practices for the CIB portfolio, adhering to regulatory and internal policies.
  • Develop and execute the Corporate & Investment Banking strategy to achieve:
    • Revenue targets
    • Profitability
    • Market share growth
  • Handle other tasks related to Corporate & Investment Banking as assigned by Management.

Job Location:

Head Office, Peshawar

Remuneration:

Market-based remuneration package will be offered to the selected candidate.
