Academic / Professional Qualification
  • Minimum Bachelor's from reputable HEC recognized University / Institute.
  • Candidate having Master's degree and / or any other professional certificate will be preferred.
Experience Minimum 15 years of banking experience including 05 years in a leadership role in Corporate and / or Investment / Wholesale banking.
Other Skills/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required
  • Excellent knowledge of products and services offered in Corporate & Investment
    Banking.
  • Highly developed credit risk skills.
  • Excellent people management, communication and networking skills.
  • Sound understanding of Banking policies and regulations.
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
  • Responsible to manage Corporate & Investment Banking Group of the Bank ensuring maximum business through Trade, Investment, Cash Management and Corporate Banking areas.
  • Collaborate with other Business and Support functions of Bank including but not limited to Asset & Liability products, Treasury, Market Sales (EX), etc. and other line of business to ensure maximum returns of the Bank.
  • Review credit proposals generated from all Regional Corporate Centres and ensure quality assurance over certain thresholds or non-compliant with risk appetite before submission to Risk approval chain.
  • Ensure credit risk appetite framework and associated metrics are agreed during annual budgeting and planning with CRO.
  • Review annual client planning in order to ensure enhancement of bank's share of wallet from FX, Trade Finance, Cash Management, Investment banking, etc.
  • Ensure achievement of KPIs like asset book building, deposit mobilization, cross selling including FX, Trade Finance, Cash Management.
  • To maintain cordial relationship with key accounts ensuring portfolio diversification.
  • Keep abreast of financial market developments, including new trends in growth and management; strategic financing planning techniques; rationalizing and making efficient provisioning of financial services to corporate clients.
  • Ensure recovery from ailing borrowers; maintain relationship with internal stakeholders to improve response time around.
  • Develop new Products and Services in line with Bank's policies and procedures to create avenues for revenue generation.
  • Ensure highest professional standards of customer service to Bank's customers with an end to secure new business and deepen existing business relationships.
  • Present to Credit Risk Committees, ALCO, BoD, as and when required.
  • Contribute to increase efficiency via automation and transformation to the Bank's credit review process.
  • Review client segmentation and categorization in defined sectors with client's financial risk rating.
  • Ensure compliance of banking laws, regulations / procedures / instructions, maintenance of files and records.
  • Ensure timely submission of information by CIBG as required by Auditors / SBP /
    Agencies, etc and implementation of Corrective Action Plan as per audit report.
  • Ensure achievement of satisfactory rating in Audit.
  • Review along with CIBG Core team, strategic business plan, budget, manpower plan for senior management and Board.
  • Ensure development of employees in CIBG and provide them opportunities to learn and grow.

Employment Type The employment will be on contractual basis, for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank's Policy / rules.
