WALLED CITY OF LAHORE AUTHORITY (WCLA)

CORRIGENDUM

Reference is made to the advertisement issued by the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) under IPL No. 5291 regarding the hiring of staff on a work-charge basis for various conservation and heritage preservation projects in Lahore and other cities of Punjab on a one-year contractual basis.

Amendment to Previously Advertised Positions

It is hereby notified for the information of all interested candidates that the following amendment has been made:

One (01) post of Graduate Engineer (Civil) has been replaced with One (01) post of Graduate Engineer (Electrical).

The updated details of the advertised positions are as follows:

Available Positions

1. Graduate Engineer (Civil)

  • Number of Posts: 03
  • Age Limit: Up to 35 Years
  • Salary: Rs. 115,832/- per month (Lump Sum)

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized/reputable institution.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Degree must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Higher qualifications in the relevant field.
  • Additional relevant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of the latest Civil Engineering codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as:
    • Primavera
    • Pert Master
    • Revit
    • Other related applications

2. Graduate Engineer (Electrical)

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: Up to 35 Years
  • Salary: Rs. 115,832/- per month (Lump Sum)

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized/reputable institution.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Degree must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Higher qualifications in the relevant field.
  • Additional relevant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of the latest Electrical Engineering codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in:
    • AutoCAD
    • Microsoft Office
    • Other relevant engineering software

Application Procedure

2. Nature of Appointment

  • Contract-based appointment.
  • Temporary, non-transferable, and non-pensionable.

3. Salary Package

  • Salary is offered on a lump-sum basis.
  • Includes all admissible allowances.
  • Annual increments will be granted according to Government of Punjab notifications issued from time to time.

4. Government Employees

  • Candidates currently serving in Government departments must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application submission.

5. Shortlisting

  • Incomplete applications will be rejected.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests and interviews through phone call, email, or other official communication channels.

6. Travel Allowance

  • No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in tests or interviews.
