Applications on prescribed form are invited from Qualified/ Eligible candidates domiciled in Sindh Province for the following positions for the under mentioned "Project Implementation Staff" ( purely on contract basis initially for a period of one (01) year which is extendable till three (03) years subject to satisfactory performance and to be terminated upon completion of the project). Application must reach to office of undersigned within 15(fifteen) days of publication of the Advertisement in newspapers during office hours along with attested Academic and other documents inculding Pay Order/Demand Draft of Rs.2000/- as processing fee in favour of the Director Finance, Government College University Hyderabad. The project entitled "Development of Essential needs for Establishment of Government College University Hyderabad" will be funded by the Federal Government through the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Islamabad. The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the website www.gcuh.edu.pk/career or can be obtained from Office of the Director HR, Government College University Hyderabad.

  1. At least 12 years Professional experience of implemerition o large project(inculding design) having worked with multinational companies of international repute or worked with Government/ Semi Government/ Autonomous organization.
  2. Proven managerial capabilities in Supervision of Construction of Building works, Infrastructure and other related works.
  3. Proven experience of rules /regulations Government contracting procedures for tendering,evalutions,execution and procurement etc.and preparation of PC-1.
  4. Proven Experience of Working through the Consultant & contractor supervision and preparation of monthly and quarterly progress reports. Candidates having experience with Public Sector Universities will be preferable.
Assistant Director Accounts 1 90 000 40-45 years
  1. At least 16 years Education 2nd Class B.Com /BB A(Finance) from HEC recognized University / Institution.
  2. Preference will be given to those having 1st class degree. c)Additional qualification will be given due weightage
  1. At least 03 years experience in any Public/Private organization related to Project Financial Management
  2. Having sound knowledge of modern Accounting principles, public sector / Government financial rules, audit and procedures.
  3. Candidate should also be well versed with SPPRA and Planning Commission rules /regulations/ Procedure for implementation of projects and preparation of PC-1.
Sub Engineer (Civil & Electrical) 2 60,000 30-35 years
  1. At least 2nd Class B.Tech/B.E in (Civil)/ (Electrical) B E / T from HEC recognized University/Institution.
  2. Additional qualification will be given due weightage.
  1. At least 2years' experience in any Public/Private organization related to supervision of Civil/Electrical works.
  2. Having good understanding in evaluating drawings (Civil/ Electrical), measurement of quantities, checking quality of materials and supervising the work according to drawing.
Project Assistant 2 40,000 30-35 years
  1. At least 2nd Class Bachelor Degree from HEC recognized University/Institution.
  2. Additional qualification will be given due weightage.
  1. At least 2years experience in any Public/Private organization related to Project Documentation.
  2. Having sound knowledge of Microsoft Word Office. Excel. Power Point etc.
  3. Letter Drafting skills.
Attendant C\I 20,000 30 years
  1. Intermediate
  2. Additional qualification will be given due weightage.
 
Driver 2 20,000 30 years
  1. Intermediate
  2. Valid Driving License (LTV/HTV).
  3. Additional qualification will be given due weightage.
 
 

INSTRUCTIONS/CONDITIONS/FURTHER INFORMATION:

  1. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be entertained in any case.
  2. Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate application forms with all required attested documents for each post.
  3. Candidates who are already serving in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel accompanied by NOC from the employer/competent authority.
  4. Applications should include three latest photographs, CV. Domicile PRC. copy of NIC,academic certificates and all other testimonials.
  5. Age relaxation would be applicable as per Government Policy.
  6. Only short listed candidates will be called for written test/ interview.
  7. University reserves the right to cancel all advertised post(s), partly or as a whole.
  8. Canvassing in any manner will disqualify the candidate.
  9. No T.A/D.A will be admissible in the interview/ written test.

Note:- Those who have already paid the processing fee in the last advertisement will be required to apply again with updated documents but will not be required to pay the processing fee given the application for the same post is being resubmitted.
