Career Opportunities (Contractual Basis – One Year, Extendable)

Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for appointment against the following positions in the VIP Flight department of the Government of Sindh. All posts are purely on contractual basis for a period of one year (extendable) based on performance.

1. Position: Pilot (Special Grade)

No. of Posts: 01
Type: Contractual (One Year, Extendable)
Maximum Age Limit: 54 Years

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Total Flight Experience: Minimum 4000 hours

  • Multi-Engine Jet/Turbo Prop Experience: Minimum 2000 hours

  • Corporate Jet Experience: Preferred

  • Licenses & Certifications:

    • Valid ATPL from PCAA with instrument rating on Multi-Engine Aircraft (Essential)

    • Valid PCAA Medical Certificate with no restrictions (Essential)

  • Additional Requirements:

    • No accident history attributable to pilot error

    • Valid B1/B2 USA Visa (Preferred)

    • Experience in aviation security and safety (Preferred)

2. Position: Chief Engineer (Special Grade)

No. of Posts: 01
Type: Contractual (One Year, Extendable)
Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Academic Qualification: BE in Avionics or Electronics (Essential)

  • Licenses & Certifications:

    • Valid PCAA ANO-66 Aircraft Maintenance License, Category B2 (Essential)

    • Type Rating on Multi-Engine Fixed Wing Aircraft (Essential)

  • Skills & Experience:

    • Minimum 8 years or more experience in Aircraft Maintenance (Essential)

    • Advanced computer handling skills (Preferable)

    • In-depth knowledge of PCAA Rules and Regulations (Essential)

3. Position: Deputy Chief Engineer (Special Grade)

No. of Posts: 01
Type: Contractual (One Year, Extendable)
Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Academic Qualification: BE in Aerospace, Electrical, or Avionics (Preferable)

  • Licenses & Certifications:

    • Valid PCAA ANO-66 Aircraft Maintenance License Category B1/B2 with no limitations from PCAA (Essential)

    • Type Rating on any Fixed Wing Aircraft (Preferable)

  • Skills:

    • Proficient in advanced computer handling (MS Office, etc.)

4. Position: Safety & Security Manager (Special Grade)

No. of Posts: 01
Type: Contractual (One Year, Extendable)
Maximum Age Limit: 55 Years

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Academic Qualification: BA / BSc / Master's Degree (Preferable)

  • Professional Courses:

    • Safety Management System Course or Flight Safety Officer Course (Essential)

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of aviation safety experience (Preferable)

    • Armed Forces background with a minimum of 10 years of experience (Highly Preferable)

  • Skills:

    • Strong computer handling skills (Preferable)
