VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Position Title:

Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer
Organization: National Investment Trust Limited (NITL)
Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Job Description:

National Investment Trust Limited (NITL) is seeking applications from highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic professionals for the full-time position of Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO). The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the organization with a vision to strengthen and expand its investment portfolio while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory frameworks and governance standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

  • A relevant postgraduate degree from a well-reputed institution;
    OR

  • Membership of a recognized professional body of accountants, investment professionals, or a similar institution.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of demonstrated experience in senior management roles, preferably in the Mutual Fund Industry, with significant exposure as Managing Director, CEO, or similar leadership roles in related organizations.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum age at the time of appointment: 62 years.

Emoluments:

  • A competitive market-based remuneration package will be offered.

  • In case of selection, the candidate currently working in any Government Department, Autonomous, or Semi-Autonomous Body must resign or seek retirement before joining.

Tenure of Appointment:

  • The initial term will be three (03) years.

  • The tenure may conclude on attaining the age of 65 years or on expiry of the term, whichever is earlier.

  • Appointment will be subject to full legal, codal, and procedural requirements, including adherence to Company Laws, NBFC Rules, and other applicable regulations.
