Reko Diq Mining Company, operated by Barrick in partnership with the Government of Balochistan and the Government of Pakistan, is recruiting talented professionals to develop its world-class copper-gold mining project in Balochistan.

1. Environmental Officer – Biodiversity

• Department: Environment

• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Chagai

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Wildlife Biology, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in biodiversity or ecological roles, preferably in mining, construction, or infrastructure sectors

Requirements:

• Skilled in flora and fauna trapping, handling, and relocation

• Knowledge of local species, ecosystems, and environmental regulations

• Proficient in field surveys, pitfall traps, camera traps, and basic GIS tools

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in remote locations

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Barrick’s Sustainability Policy and ESMP

• Manage biodiversity studies, budgets, and management plans

• Coordinate species relocation and ecological field surveys

• Maintain biodiversity records and ensure regulatory compliance

• Provide training, support audits, and apply adaptive practices based on monitoring

2. Airport Assistant

• Department: Travel & Facilities

• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site

Qualification:

• High School Matriculation or equivalent

• Additional coursework or certification in airport operations preferred

Experience:

• 1–3 years in airport services, refueling, or related functions

• Experience with mechanical or electrical airport equipment is an asset

Requirements:

• Knowledge of airport operations and regulations

• Familiarity with airport equipment

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and in remote locations

Responsibilities:

• Assist with passenger check-in, boarding, and baggage handling

• Support aircraft ground services

• Communicate with airline and ground staff

• Ensure proper baggage handling, labeling, and routing

• Maintain cleanliness and safety; report repair needs

3. Contractor Compliance Officer

• Department: Supply Chain & Commercial

• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field

Experience:

• 3–5 years in contractor compliance, risk management, or procurement

Requirements:

• Knowledge of local laws and industry best practices

• Proficient in SAP Ariba and Microsoft Office

• Strong auditing, communication, and analytical skills

• Fluent in English; Urdu/Balochi proficiency is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site inspections and audits

• Monitor and report contractor compliance

• Integrate compliance into the contract lifecycle

• Prepare compliance reports and track certifications

• Coordinate training and corrective actions for non-compliance

4. Contractor Compliance Lead

• Department: Supply Chain & Commercial

• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting (Master’s preferred)

Experience:

• 5–11 years in contractor compliance or project management, preferably in mining or construction

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of contractor compliance systems and legal frameworks

• Skilled in auditing, stakeholder engagement, and compliance tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Damstra)

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Urdu or Balochi is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor contractor compliance programs

• Conduct audits and ensure legal/contractual adherence

• Provide training and guidance on policies and legal standards

• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions

• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors

• Drive continuous improvement in contractor compliance
