VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

A Public Sector entity is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions at its office in Karachi:

Position: Geophysicist

Job Description:

This role involves advanced geophysical analysis for oil and gas exploration, including seismic data processing and interpretation.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Master's degree in Geophysics.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in an exploration and production company.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in seismic acquisition, processing, and interpretation.
  • Hands-on experience with seismic interpretation software such as Petrel, Kingdom, and Landmark.
  • Deep understanding of oil and gas exploration techniques.

Position: Reservoir Engineer

Job Description:

This position requires expertise in reservoir engineering, including reservoir modeling and development planning.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in an exploration and production company.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in reservoir modeling and production profiling.
  • Experience in reserves and resource estimation.
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas field development.
