Gharibwal Cement Limited

Gharibwal Cement Limited is looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager Works to lead manufacturing operations at their plant in District Chakwal.

Core Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the facility, specifically:

  • Operational Oversight: Leading production, maintenance (preventive and predictive), mining operations, and dispatch.

  • Strategic Budgeting: Managing annual budgets and ensuring optimal resource utilization across all departments.

  • Team Leadership: Managing cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), Production, Mining, and Quality Control.

  • Process Excellence: Driving profitability and efficiency while maintaining high product quality and workplace safety.

  • Continuous Improvement: Ensuring plant machinery and equipment function at peak efficiency through process optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

Criteria Requirement
Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Sc. Mechanical preferred).
Certification Must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
Industry Exp. Minimum 25 years in the cement industry.
Leadership Exp. At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
Key Skills Decision-making, organizational management, and strong leadership.
