First Women Bank is the leading bank for the empowerment of the women. Women in Pakistan have remained backwards as compared to men since the foundation of Pakistan. This bank has been founded as an initiative for the employment of women who wish to pursue a career in the banking field. It was inaugurated by Benzair Bhutto, the prime minister of Pakistan in 1989 for the establishment of the women oriented business. The women were bashful in the era when the bank was set up, however, female post-graduated students and professionals have become its critical employees.
