Short-Term Financial Consultant Required

The University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore invites applications for the position of Financial Consultant on a short-term basis under Section 46 of the PPRA Rules 2014 (Amended). The consultant will be engaged with the Accounts Branch and will play a key role in implementing a Financial Management System aimed at enhancing the financial operations of the university.

Key Responsibilities

The selected consultant will be required to provide expert advice and support on the following matters:

Liaison with Vendor
Coordinate with the vendor to assist in the digitalization and automation process, specifically the conversion of the current single-entry accounting system to a double-entry system in the Treasurer’s Office.
System Implementation Oversight
Supervise data entry processes and ensure the successful trial run and functionality of the new automated system.
Financial Contribution Analysis
Conduct a detailed study to evaluate and report campus-wise, department-wise, and cost-centre-wise financial contributions and liabilities on university resources.
HR Structuring and Evaluation
Prepare comprehensive job descriptions for the staff of the Treasurer’s Office at all levels to help define responsibilities and establish performance evaluation criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:
MBA (Finance) / FCMA / FCA
Experience:
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in public sector organizations, preferably in a public sector university or Higher Education Institution (HEI).
