Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology

Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology was established in 2007. It has 200 beds facility. The institute is also functioning as a research center for cardiac patients. The rules and regulations for the institute are formulated under Punjab Medical and Health Institute. The institute is providing facilities of the diagnostic center, treatment, and surgery for cardiac patients. The core goal of its establishment is not only international standard treatment but also improve the health of people through organizing awareness and seminars based on latest and modern researches. The institute trains nurses, paramedical staff and interns.

The other expansion projects of FIC include expansion of the emergency department, Provision of Coronary Angio Graphy Machine and Construction of hostels and staff residences. The institute receives a large number of indoor and outdoor patients from Faisalabad and its adjacent areas like Sargodha, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang and Chiniot. The institute has a future plan to establish a high-level research center and attract foreign and national expert to work together for the enhancement of present medicines and reduction of cardiac diseases. The technical equipment and machinery available at the institute is high quality and so far the surgeries done at the surgery department of the institute have been exceptionally successful.
