Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM) is the oldest training and consulting institute in Pakistan with offices in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Established in 1954 by Government of Pakistan, now works under the administrative control of Ministry of Industries and Production. PIM requires services of a dynamic professional for the post of Executive Director to lead the Institute on two years contract basis extendable for further two years. The individual who fulfills the below mentioned eligibility criteria may apply for the post.
Academic/ Professional Qualification and Experience
PhD in Management Sciences/Business Administration from HEC recognized University/ Institute. At least three publications in HEC recognized research journals. Minimum five years of post-doctoral working experience at senior management level (ideally at CEO or at number two). OR
Master in Business Administration from HEC recognized Institute/University with ten years of working experience at senior management level (ideally at CEO or at number two position). OR
Chartered Accountant/ICMA with ten years of working experience at senior management level (ideally at CEO or at number two position).
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
Experience in managing at national level a management development, training, and consulting organization.
Ability to interact, influence, and convince.
Aptitude to learn quickly and apply.
Confident in public speaking.
Possess highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills. Excellent in Urdu and English communications.
Ability to handle variety of challenges and ambiguities.
Skilled in data analysis, develop trends, and draft recommendations.
Result oriented in fast paced, deadline driven environment with quality, creativity, and innovation.
Demonstrated leadership skills, management and team building experience.
Proven capability for creating an environment of forward thinking, innovativeness, and creativity for future growth.
Experience of developing and running a competency based assessment and development systems.
At least 10 years of experience in teaching, training, and consulting.
48 - 58 years
Only shortlisted applicant strictly meeting the above mentioned eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interviews.
Selected candidate will be offered salary equivalent to MP-II Government pay scale.
