Advertisement for Temporary Recruitment
Anti-Dengue Program – District Rawalpindi
With reference to the approval granted by the Government of Punjab, Health & Population Department (via notification No. SO(EP&C) 2-175/2026), the District Health Authority Rawalpindi invites applications for temporary (daily wages) recruitment for a maximum period of 89 days on an emergency basis.
The hiring is for Contingent Paid Staff (Sanitary Patrol – Male & Female) to work in high-risk union councils/areas of District Rawalpindi for dengue prevention activities.
1. Available Positions
a. Entomologist (Male/Female)
- Number of Posts: 01
- Age Limit: 25–35 years
Required Qualification:
- MSc in Agriculture (Entomology) or
- BS (Hons) in relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution
Alternative Qualification (if required candidates are not available):
- MSc / BS (Hons) in:
- Biology
- Zoology
- Microbiology
- Molecular Biology
- Environmental Health
- Agriculture (Entomology)
- Medical Technology
Preference:
- Candidates with higher qualifications or currently studying will be preferred
- Relevant field experience will be preferred
- Must have a personal Android mobile (version 15.0 or above)
- Must be physically fit due to field work
b. Sanitary Patrol (Male & Female)
Age Limit:
- Females: 18–35 years
- Males: 18–33 years
Duty Locations:
- Various high-risk union councils and areas including (examples):
- Dhoke Hassu
- Chak Jalal Din
- Dhamial Camp
- Girja
- Khanna Dak
- Morgah
- Rahat Abad
- Chakala
- Bangash
- Tench Bhatta
- Rawalpindi Cantt areas (CTR-10, CTR-12, CTR-14, CTR-17, etc.)
(Each area has separately allocated male and female positions.)
2. Terms & Conditions
- This recruitment is purely temporary (daily wages) for a maximum of 89 days.
- Selected candidates cannot claim permanent employment or contract conversion in any forum.
- This job experience will not be valid for age relaxation in future government jobs.
- Preference will be given to residents of the relevant union council/area.
- If local candidates are not available, candidates from nearby areas may be considered.
- The authority reserves the right to:
- Increase or decrease the number of posts
- Reject any application without assigning a reason
- Recruitment duration will not exceed 89 days unless extended by competent authority.
- Government employees’ close relatives may not be eligible.
- Selection committee decisions will be final and cannot be challenged.
- No TA/DA will be given for tests/interviews.
- Selected candidates must register on the PITB dashboard, and performance will be monitored daily. Poor performance may result in termination.
- Recruitment may be postponed or canceled by the authority at any time.
- These posts are not regular or work-charge positions, and no claim for regularization will be accepted.
