SITUATION VACANT

The following vacancies are available at the Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute (AFPGMI), Rawalpindi. Candidates must meet the prescribed qualifications, experience, and conditions mentioned against each post.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Age and experience will be calculated as of the closing date for submission of applications.

  2. Candidates already serving in Government service must submit their applications through proper channel.

  3. Interested candidates must submit their applications along with:

    • Two (02) recent passport-size photographs

    • Attested copies of Domicile and Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)

    • All documents must be attested by a Gazetted Officer
      Applications must reach the office within 15 days of publication of this advertisement.

  4. Separate applications and separate bank drafts are required if applying for more than one post.

  5. Call letters for test/interview will be issued after scrutiny of applications.

  6. No TA/DA shall be admissible for test or interview.

  7. No additional information or marks will be awarded beyond the prescribed criteria.

  8. Applications must reach the office within the stipulated time after advertisement publication.

  9. Selected candidates will have to undergo a medical examination, and only medically fit candidates will be finally appointed.

  10. Selected candidates will be required to work at AFPGMI for a probation period of one (01) year.

Age Limit

For All Posts

  • 18 to 25 years

Age Relaxation

  • Maximum 03 years relaxation as per Establishment Division instructions for candidates belonging to:

    • Non-Muslims

    • Azad Jammu & Kashmir

    • Northern Areas (Districts Gilgit, Skardu, Diamer)

    • Tribal Areas

    • Sindh (Rural)

    • Balochistan

  • Disabled Persons: 18 to 28 years

  • Retired Armed Forces Personnel: Up to 45 years

Additionally, a general age relaxation of 05 years may be granted as per Government rules.
If a candidate qualifies for more than one category of age relaxation, only one category shall be applicable. The candidate must provide authentic documentary proof with the application.

Application Procedure

  1. Applicants must attach a Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- in favor of AFPGMI Rawalpindi with the application for each post.

  2. Complete applications along with the bank draft must be sent via courier to AFPGMI Rawalpindi.
